How referrals work
How do I get referrals?
Share your Blip referral link. When someone opens it and sets up Blip, you become their referrer — and once they start using Blip, they count toward your rank.
Where is my referral link?
There are two, and both point to you and count the same:
- Your standard link — every Blip user has one. Share it from inside the app; it carries your referral code, so it works even before you join the leaderboard.
- Your short link — a clean
blippay.me/r/yourcode(pick your own code) that you get when you publish a profile from Join the leaderboard.
What decides my ranking?
Your rank is the number of people you referred who joined and became active in Blip. More active referrals, the higher you climb.
Do I have to show my name?
A leaderboard short link is a public referral profile. You choose the name, photo, short code, and optional country before publishing.
When should I share my link?
Before your friend installs Blip. Opening your link first ties them to you through install and setup — on Android via the Play Store referrer, on iPhone via the universal link.
Do I earn rewards?
Yes. As the people you refer start sending QUAI in Blip, you earn referral rewards you can claim in the app’s Rewards screen.
Why didn’t a referral count?
Each person can only be referred once (the first link wins), you cannot refer yourself, and a referral counts once that person is active in Blip. New referrals are picked up automatically within a few minutes — if yours haven’t appeared yet, tap Refresh on your saved profile above to re-check the chain right away.
